If you manage to remove it all, let me know as I wish to dump AOL as well.

Start>Run>AOLUNINS>OK does a fairly good job of removing AOL. You may have to reinstall first to use it. After uninstalling do a Start>Find for AOL and delete any fragments remaining.

Try reinstalling AOL on top of the original Installation, then boot to Safe Mode and try uninstalling it. To get all traces of AOL off your computer, you need to format and reinstall Windows.
