aound card problems
I have a Dimension E520, 2.3GHz, 1M memory and running Vista Home Premium. I have suffered the same problems with the front panel audio sockets
as it appears have many others. I've just installed a Genius Soundmaker Value5.1 PCI audio acceleration card. Everything looks fine in Device Manager and in the audio options. I've disabled the integrated codec, but i get absolutely no sound from any of the speaker output sockets on the card.
Does anyone know if this card is compatible with Vista? I know it is compatible with Sound Blaster.
Any help will be wonderful, as I don't want to have to go back to the codec.
