Does anyone know the name of a box device that
you can attach to back of Computer so you can
be online and take the phone calls when they come
in? I have seen it advertise on T.V. but I forget
the name of it or even if it works.
Would appreciate some input on this box if you
know of it.
Thanks!
Keep in mind that these boxes also require that you have call waiting service on your phone line, and they do not hold the connection indefinitely -- I believe you've got to wrap up the "interruption" call within 30 seconds or so.

I've spoken to people who have used these, and they hava all been very unhappy. Apparently, they don't hold the connection as long as you would like, or as reliably as you need.
Another option to consider is DSL (or for that matter, cable). If you have an MSN account and buy this machine, the call waiting charge brings you up to 30 bucks. Add in the cost of this machine and any toll calls to connect, and the 40 bucks for broadband seems reasonable.
