If you will give us your system specs (Model, Operating System, Sound Card, etc) and exactly what it is doing or not doing, maybe someone can assist you. Or is this just a rant?
If you have a Dell supplied SoundBlaster sound card, you MUST use the Dell supplied drivers as the sound card is a special Dell OEM model with special features just for Dell.

My systeem is dell dimension 8300 Pentium 4 3,0 MHZ
SB Audigy 2 audio card ati 9800/128 mb video card ,
Hope you can do somthing because dell is doing nothing i guess .??
