As has been stated hundreds of times on these forums, you cannot overclock a Dell or modern computers based on Intel Chipsets.  Note that if you flash the BIOS to a non-Dell BIOS, your motherboard may not work, you will not be able to flash back to the Dell BIOS, and, if you ever need to reinstall Windows, you will have to purchase a new copy of Windows, as the Dell supplied CD will only work on a machine with a Dell BIOS.

Yeah stop buying Dell, it's too cheap, too powerfull, too high-end, and above all, you can't overclock a 3.0gHz to 3.8, which is REALLY WORTH IT... especially for a professional user like you, and if you like having a crashin and buggin workstation...

it's maybe a little hi tech but it's expensive(you can find better computers at lower prices) low-end brands and you can't do anithing if you look further than your windows desktop...
