Bios Upgrade
When installing a Bios upgrade, how long will it usually take to complete the operation. I tried to upgrade my Bios, the screen went blank and the computer shut down except for the power light. I waited for about 15 minutes and nothing else happened. I tried hitting enter and the space bar and still nothing happened. Finally I held the power button until the computer shut down and restarted it. I still had the old Bios. Did I not wait long enought or was the upgrade not happening.

BTW: Why are you updating BIOS? If the update fixes a problem you're having, then it's probably worthwhile. If you're doing it just to have the latest version, is it really necessary?
