Boot error message about system not supporting installed processor

Hello,

I recently upgrade from an E6300 to a Q6700 processor.  I got the Q6700 from Dell.

I'm not noticing an error right at the end of the power on cycle and before the OS launches.  It says:

System does not support the installed processor.
Please consult your computer documentation for more information.

I choose the Q6700 after talking to sale and technical support.  Both of them checked it out and said the processor would work in my system.

System:  Dell Precision 390
BIOS: 2.2.0
CPU: Q6700
RAM: 8 GB
HD: 320 & 500 GB SATA
Video: nVidia FX-550

Before I call technical support and wait for them to decide, I'm wondering if anyone here has seen, heard, or knows about this error on a Dell Precision 390.

Thanks in advance for your help and time.

Bert.

Solution:  Since this reporting this issue here Dell came out with a new BIOS upgrade (2.5.0) for the Dell Precision 390n line.  The boot error message no longer appears.
