Boot up Problems

Question

hi, i got this dell from a friend, when i plug in the computer, it turns on then off then on, it has a solid green light on the front, and the lights A B and C are lit up. the processor fan works, the cd works. ive tried putting another PSU on it, but that one made the light solid amber. put the other psu back in and back to green. how can i resolve the issue?

As far of my knowledge, its a Optiplex GX260N. i got it free it didn't have the front of the case. i don't know the operating system because i haven't got it to boot up yet, MFG date 012303 so probably windows xp

sorry the lights on the back A and B are amber and C and D are green.

bjdroot, The led error code that you posted refers to a possible memory failure. 'Memory subsystem configuration activity or failure'

bjdroot, Open the system and reseat the memory in the slots to see if it will then boot up.

Thanks for everyone's help, unfortunately i couldn't get it to work, it was the motherboard.  i ordered a new one, thanks again.
