Computer classroom too cold!
I work in a school where the computer lab is too cold
for the students. Does anyone know what the proper temperature should be? I understand that care of the equipment is important, however the comfort of the youth attending is more important to me. Would someone please reply with a suggestion?

Hi,
Where I live the room temperature often gets over 100 in the summer. I'm sure that the computer gets even hotter, and I have had no problems at all.
I think you would be 'safe' if you turned the thermostat up a bit.

Not knowing how the heating/cooling system is set up in your building, it is difficult to land on the easy fix. If the classroom in question is zoned separately and has it's own thermmostat, it would be appropriate to turn it up a bit. A temperature of 70 degrees is not going to damage any computers, and it would present a more comfortable environment for the students.

suppose no one wants to step on the teacher's toes
over this issue! Thanks for your opinion.
