computer slowed way down

Question

my computer slowed way down i try to load software for x10 home security i got a not test for microsoft window called the company they said go head with download which i did it wouldn,t download so closed file but when restarted computer it was and is way slow. used norton 2004 to check if got worms or virises it found some and fixed but that didn,t speed computer up i need help...phil

Have you checked for spyware too? If not download adaware and/or spybot search and destroy to check the system for spyware and remove it.

i did think that spyware was the reason so when to micrsoft and download repair help until i did x10 software download then went back to srewed up
