Connection Computers in System tray
Is there not a way to keep those 2 little computers from comming up in the system tray. We use that remote disconnection client thing, and if they disconnect by the 2 computers, it doesn't even give me chance to cancle the disconnection. Is there a way to prevent them from comming up?
thanks

Go to Dial Up Networking. Right-click your connection icon and choose Properties. On the General tab click the "Advanced" button. On the Options tab uncheck "Display modem status." OK your way out.
Want to make a hyperlink in your post, want to add a graphic or sound file, need to troubleshoot a non-working Java applet, want to build an attractive signature? These capabilities can be yours if you visit Denny's DellT@lk Tutorials.

Hi,
One other place to check is to open open DUN, choose Connections | Settings from the menu bar above the icons. Uncheck any reference you may have to showing an icon in the Activity Tray after connection.
You don't mention the connection type you use, nor do you mention any software you installed from your ISP. If Denny's location and this one do not solve the problem, then you may need to search your software settings and options, as well as any network applet you are using for the same sorts of references as have been listed here. Take all tabs and click all buttons in the options windows you have and see if you can't locate other references.
