CPU display in performance tab in task manager.
I have XPS 600 desktop system with Intel D CPU 3.00GHz. So it is 2 processors.
My device manager shows two pentium d cpu's, but the performance tab in the task manager shows only one. I tried to change views, but the only option chosen and available "one graph per cpu" and performance tab still shows only one cpu when it should show two. What would cause this?

Make sure Hyper-Threading is enabled in the System Setup Program.

My mistake, I was thinking of the Smithfield Extreme Edition processor.
