Curiosity question.

OK, you know when you turn on the computer , First there is the Large Dell globe logo, and WWW.Dell.com under the globe,(I have a 4400), if you hit delete, or F2, you get into the bios setup. Is there a way, to get to the small dell globe logo (the one with specifications). I see this once in a great while.
Thanks!!!

I could try that, although i believe i had it set like that before. It would beep once with quiet boot disabled, but I can try again. Thanks. I though there might have been another "F" button that would do the trick.

OK, disabling "Quick Boot" worked. But it took a long time counting RAM, so I hit delete, and re-enabled Quick boot.

It showed a small Dell logo, but it seemed smaller than the one I seen before.

Curiosity solved. Quiet boot kills the beep at startup. I knew that.

I'm not quite sure what you looking for, but see if going into the BIOS setup program and, on the Boot Screen, changing the Quiet Boot option to Disabled does what you want.

If you have an option to turn off Quick Boot or Fast Boot in the BIOS, try that.
This will slow your boot time
