DAT file association

Somehow I lost the file association for the ".DAT" file type.

Could someone check their system and post the information needed so I can re-associate ".DAT" files with the correct application. Specifically I need the information to put in the View/Folder Options/Files Types/Edit/ dialog box to open the DAT file type.

I'm running Win98SE.

Thanks in advance.

Leonard

L. Schroeder,

There is no association with .dat files. They are data files written in special formats by the applications that use them (and accessible only to those applications) or in ASCII, but ASCII is not as commonly used.

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java.
