The problem you are experiencing is more of a quirk with Windows than a problem with the BIOS update file.  First, try booting into Windows Safe Mode to see if you can delete the file.  If not, the click here for another forum discussion on the topic of deleting stubborn files in Windows.  From the feed back I have received from other folks I have sent there, the MoveOnBoot solution is the most popular resolution. 

 

In the future, to avoid the problem, save files to a folder on your hard drive rather than the desktop.
