Delete DataSafe partitions?
I have a Dell XPS 410 that I purchased with Dell DataSave (RAID Level 1 configuration and Norton Save & Restore). I find that the Norton software is a nuisance and the D partition constantly fills up. I have other backup software that backs up my data to an external hard drive and don't need the redundant and largely uselsss Norton protection.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to delete the D and E partitions to free up additional space in the C partition on my hard drives without losing the data? It isn't an issue now, but I'd like to have the option available if needed.

if you delete partitions, you lose all data on those partitions. There really isn't a way around it. You can try just copying all the files from D: over to C:, and then deleting it and expanding C: partition, but you won't gain space.
Just tell Norton to use less restore points so it doesn't take up so much room. -- deleting the D: partition isn't good because (usually) that's where Dell puts the recovery image, and you won't be able to do an Image Restore if you delete it
