I have no idea what that might be. I just looked in my Quick Time folder and don't have a 'delete' anything in there. I'd move them to the recycle bin then see if everything works. If all is well after you've moved them then this is just a guess, but I'd probably be shed of both files.

yes, they're residing in the recycle bin as i type.they were both listed as quick time plug ins and were called "deleteme1" and deleteme2" when i did try to open the#1 file, i went right into shutdown. too scary for me!
