Hi,
If you uninstalled the program and a folder still remains it is safe to delete the folder.
Also, if the program is just so so in uninstalling you should look into regclean. I haer reports that a new version of regclean from Microsoft is now availble for WinXP. It will rid your registry of un-needed registry files that can slow your system and/or cause system problems.
Thanks dbk....you're right the Add/Remove in the Control Panel doesn't always seem to do a clean removal. Will have to check out your suggestion. Thanks.

If you do decide to get a utility to clear out unneeded files from the registry, you may want to compare RegClean with the similarly named
RegCleaner. Many people (myself included) find it easier to use.
