Dell Customer Support=Poor

I ordered an Inspiron 6000 on Dec. 10th and still haven't received it!! No on will call and talk to me. I have called their customer support and I am put on hold and then speak to someone in India who can only answer from a scripted response. Is this typical of Dell support? I am concerned I may have the same problem with technical issues.

Please post on only one discussion board.  Posting in multiple locations is bad forum.

Sorry about that. I couldn't find any thing related to customer service, so i just started posting in different locations.
