Dell studio 540 processor compatability
I'm interested in upgrading the processor in my studio 540 I know it has a M017g motherboard and an intel Q8200 processor. was wondering what processors are compatible with it . I was looking at the Q9650 and Q9550. but all I can seem to fiqure out is that they share the same socket 775. Not sure if the motherboard can handle the increased speeds and additional technology those processor have to offer. Any info would be great.

Do any of these processors support SLAT (second level address translation)? Are there an others that do and work in the studio 540?
