Hello Friends, I am trying to reload a Dell Dimension 3000 Desktop. I was not able to reload from restore disc mode. I contacted Dell for the CD's. They sent me 3 discs: 1. Dell Drivers and Utilities Already Installed on your Computer. 2. Dell Applications Already Installed on your computer 3. E173FP LCD Monitor user documentation. The problem is that these discs do not provide drivers for the basics like: the monitor, the video driver, and many of the very basic divers found on the original setup. I have searched for the drivers on Dell's sight, but many very basic drivers are not there. Am I missing a disc maybe? Thanks! Brit

actually, the first disc that you mentioned is the right one, all you have to do is to insert that disc - usually, it auto-runs the program but if not, go to myComputer and open the contents of your cd-drive and double-click the setup.exe and it will run the installer file. select the device you need to install and make sure that it has the check mark - it means that it is the most compatible driver for the system. this may take several steps to extract the file, install and takes several reboots. good luck.
