I have had the same problem with the BSOD with the stop code 0X0000000A (0X00000000C, 0X0000001C, 0X00000000, 0X804FC29D) I ran the crash Analysis Tool from Dell & is said I was missing three files two from an AOL program & one I have not a clue what it is, I have tried to restore but all of the restore points, have failed. The next step will be a complete restore to the factory settings.
I will let you know how it turns out I plan on doing it tomorrow...
Do you, by any chance, have Zone Alarm installed? After my error popped up, I took a look at the minidump file, using the Windows Debugger tool, and found that the last item to crash, before the BSOD, was vsdatant.sys, a file that is used by Zone Alarm Security Suite.
The Zone Labs forums seemed to support this... But it might well be a hardware problem, too, as I just had major issues that resulted in my having a video card replaced (a few days ago), along with a motherboard, CPU, and memory.
I'm Sorry to say I did not have Zone Alarm installed ... When you get your BSOD is it over night when you Computer is idle & on or does it happen while you are using it?
You can try going into your startup programs & turn them off, reboot. It might take a while to find the program, that could be your problem.
