Device Manager - PCI device not found

I have a Dimension 8100 and after installing Windows 2000 device manager shows a yellow caution on Other Devices and on PCI device under that general heading. I have deleted the device and when the new hardware wizard comes up I have systematically tried every disk that came with the PC and cannot find any driver that will work. Any ideas?????

I'm pretty sure that what you need to install is the Dell Solution Center. I've never used the E-support button on the front of my 8100, but I think that it was used as part of resolution assistant. Still, Dell stopped supporting resolution assistant as of July 31. But, if you want the unknown device designation to go away in Device Manager, you still have to install the Dell Solution Center. (I know it is confusing).

It is probably the e-support button on the front of the computer. To install the drivers for this device, install the Dell Solution Center. This should fix the problem.
