Thanks Peter, Is it common for Dell to offer the same thing with different wording? I asked a similar question about a CD/DVD drive. No one really knew if they were the same thing with different wording. If you're not paying attention you could pay for somethng that they're actually offering for free. Doesn't make me feel too good about ordering from Dell. Sounds like they're trying to rip people off.

Yes, I think it is common when they have a special deal (e.g. 1G upgrade free or DVD RW upgrage free). They list the original item with its upgrade price, plus the same item with 0 upgrade price.

I think they are just trying to make it clear that you are getting something for free. However, you often have to look carefully and select the free item, because it is not always selected be default. Of course, they don't mind if you pay more than you need to.
