Dimension 4700 Memory Parity error

I have had this dimension for 6 months.  I began receiving the Memory Parity Error 2 days ago.  The error would show up when I started to play a game.  I would enter the game, run around, then I would get the blue screen Hardware failure -- Memory Parity error.  The computer has been unstable, rending from bluescreen on start up with the Data_Spool error, to blue lines running vertically down the Windows splash screen.  Here is what has been done:

Dells outsourced tech support:
System Restore
uninstall graphics card drivers
Dell's Diagnostic tool

Me:
Replaced graphics card
Checked the RAM
Ran memory test

None of the above has helped rectify the problem.  I noticed where the graphics card is seated that it looks like the clip that hold the graphics card expanded and bent a resistor  The computer is still under warranty, but all the dell tech's want to do is uninstall software, drivers, etc.  Now they want to reinstall windows.  I have called about 6 times and tried to explain that the error I am getting says Hardware Failure. Is there anyway to escalate the ticket to the people who can order the parts and send out a tech to replace them?

Thanks for the reply.  I have done as you described.  Pulled out the graphics card, ram etc.  I am trying to get it replaced, but I have hit a stone wall with the 1st level support.  They keep wanting to uninstall and install games, windows, drivers, etc.  I have done all that.  I figured after I got the Hardware failure message, they would get me the replacement parts.

If you have any other add-on cards remove them one at a time until your system works. If that doesn't work try re-installing windows or have it replaced

Hi!

Please post when you figured out the problem, because there are a lot of other people (like me) with similar problems (watch my thread at http://forums.us.dell.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=dim_other&message.id=237302 )

Thanks

I am going to clean out the whole system and reinstall everything again.  I will let you know if that fixes the problem.
