Dimension 8300
I am looking at buying the Dimension 8300 computer system. I have tried to find the wattage of the power supply and can not seem to find this anywhere. I am also trying to find out if this system has Firewire. Can someone direct me to the specs for this system that have more detail then what the buying pages have?

You've been around here long enough to know that you can find all of this information, for any system, on the Dell support site. In the Dell forum window, click on the Reference tab, then click on User's Guides > Systems > Dimension desktops and slect the system. Eventually for the 8300 system you will be able to get to:

Note that it says it can come with either a 250 Watt power supply or a 330 Watt power supply. The specs on the Dell sales page - http://www.dell.com/us/en/dhs/products/model_dimen_3_dimen_8300.htm#tabtop show only the 250 W power supply.
It will not come with a firewire port unless you order it with an Audigy 2 sound card or a Movie Studio Bundle. All of this information can be found by going to the last link I mentioned above and click on the links that say "Learn More".
