Dimension E310 -Black Screen?

Question

Press on, Dell screen loads but does not load Windows. I have run all of the diagnostics and no problems were discovered. I have Windows Media Center edition. I've removed and reseated the memory as well. Help!! Any ideas? Computer is out of warranty and I do not know what to do.

Try pressing F8 when the Dell logo comes up. This should bring you to the screen on how you want to boot your PC. Choose Last known good configuration. From there you could either save a restore point or restore to an earlier date. If this doesn't help, try booting to safe mode. You might want to run driver diagnostics and anti-virus programs here, just to make sure it's not a software related problem.

No luck with accessing F8 --- F2 and F12 give me options -- do not see any way to get to safe mode. No beep codes -- and after the www.dell.com screen flashes at the top of the screen, there is something loading but goes too fast for me to read and then nothing. Power button is green -- lights 1 2 3 4 are not on - and there is power to the monitor. I've run the diagnostics -- not problems. Any more ideas? Thanks
