Perhaps, if you give me more info as to what version software you are running, what frequency you are on, dial return or two way, etc. I might be able to help you more.

I don't understand what you mean by that, unless you are trying to say that you have checked "automatically detect settings" on the LAN settings on connection tab in Internet Explorer properties. The only thing that should be checked on that page is "use a proxy server".
