Disabling shadowing or caching?

I'm trying to fix a 0x000044 error that occurs on startup, and the message says to "disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing." Unfortunately, when I load up the BIOS screen, there are no options of the sort. How would I change these?

you can't ... on the plus side it's likely not the problem.  press F12 at the dell screen, select diagnostics/utility partition and run the full set

Spyro Gyra, by default caching and shadowing are already disabled.  As NemesisDB pointed out the problem is more than likely elsewhere.
