Addendum to above post: Audio also will not play. Checked drivers and popup says all OK. Even downloaded WinXP Audio Codecs pack, but still no audio. And yes, speakers plugged in and turned on. Thank you for any help.

You need to fix your adapter settings, not monitor. Since you have 1024x768, you don't have the standard vga setting. But the driver you are using is probably wrong. It is also possible that the sound card is conflicting with the video card. Do you have any question marks in the device manager?

Thank you for the reply. About 2 hours ago I ran the app, Drivers Genius Pro, and it found what drivers were missing, downloaded, and installed them. Everything working great(better than new), now.
