Try turning off your firewall (ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet Security).

Thommy,

What firewall are you using??

I don't see why a firewall would prevent you from accessing the Dell downloads page, unless it's not properly configurated.

I previously used ZoneAlarm and didn't have to disable it at all.

I currently use Tiny Personal Firewall and still have no problems accessing any webpages.

I have never nor will I ever close or disable my firewall if I was unable to access any webpage on the internet.

And YES, cookies will probably have something to do with that too.

For a better control on cookies, I would recommend upgrading (if you have not already done so) to Internet Explorer 6, which will provide a privacy setting to control cookies.

If not, then there are free software programs that you can try.

Here's a great one: Cookie Jar

Good luck.

Well I use Norton Internet Security, firewall, antivirus 2002 and all the rest. I didnt think of cookies when I was trying ....ah well.... but once Jerry said firewall ..it all made sense. I have IE 6, I run XP on my machine ...will have to adjust the cookie setting a bit...Thanks to all who gave me suggestions
