Driver Memory Error

I get a driver memory error on start up. when my desktop appears the Regisrty Editor box opens and says
Cannot import C:\Windows\kak.reg: Error opening the file. There may be a disk or file system error.

Help!!!

went to getvirushelp.com
downloaded kakcleaner
says my system is clean but when I start up, I still get
the Driver Memory Error
I went back to try to locate any files with kak.htm or kak.hta but can't find any.
How do I make that message go away?

Help!!!

I am sorry, but you've been infected. Here is your medicine.

Good luck.

snipesleft,

You have the kak.worm virus. Go here and download the correcting file from the menu at the upper right.

Wow! If I hadn't stopped to look at my spelling, I would have won that one :-).

Sounds like you've caught the kak.worm virus. See http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q259/0/47.asp.

Like everyone else has posted, this is a worm (virus) I suggest going to htfiles.com and downloading InoculateIT. It's a free anti-virus program. Worked for me!
