Drivers for Multimedia Audio Controller and the SM Bus Controller
I have a Dimension 4500 with XP pro. I reinstalled XP. According to the device manager I need drivers for the Multimedia Audio Controller and the SM Bus Controller. The driver provider for both devices is listed as "unknown". The audio codecs, video codecs, Legacy audio drivers, Legacy video capture devices, Media control devices, and the Unimodem half-duplex audio device are installed. The following drivers are listed when I search the Dell downloads using my service tag. I do not know which of these devices to use one of them to use. I would appreciate any help you can provide. I am at the end of my very short rope.

Once these device drivers have been installed, you may install the remaining software that was included with your system from the factory.babysmurfet

Dear Dell Coodinator (Cody),
I have the same problem, but have dimension 2350...would I install the same driver listed for this customer. Please help!
