E-mail Question

Question

I have Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0 with Outlook Express 6. Every time when I first log onto my computer and attempt to check my e-mail for the first time, the e-mail stalls and I have to close Outlook Express and immediately check my mail again. It never works the first time but works flawlessly after that. Anyone have any ideas on how to make it work the first time? Thanks!

Dave, try this. Start/Run/Settings/Add Remove Programs....and find Outlook Express. Choose the repair option. I looked in the MS knowledge base, and there are several articles on OE computer hang but not like your problem. Try disabling your AntiVirus Email scan to see if that is the problem before the repair..
