E510 TrueVector Service Error

After some problems with hardware and a system restore supervised by Dell Support,  I noticed in the Event Log for Applications frequent TrueVector Services Errors on initial startup. They typically come in 3s. The text of the errors are as follows:

8/20/06 6:05:45  TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB2F.tmp".  File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been deleted.

8/20/06 6:05:45  TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt, restoring from backup "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\BACKUP.RDB".

8/20/06 6:05:46  TrueVector engine: File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been copied to "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\xDB2F.tmp".  File "C:\WINDOWS\Internet Logs\IAMDB.RDB" was corrupt and has been deleted.

The computer seems to boot up ok. Now my questions:

What are TrueVector Services?

What problems, if any should I expect with these errors.

True Vector has to do with Zone Alarm (Firewall).  If it's failing, reinstalling Zone Alarm should fix it.

Yep, its right where I should have seen it dozens of times on the product info tab on my Firewall.

I reinstalled.

Thanks.

Not sure if this will help but when I recieved my new E-510 many months ago, my computer would blue screen and crash every time true vector would start. I was trying to install the newest version of Zone Alarm at the time....   I then tried a slightly older version and it installed fine and has been trouble free ever since. I did read a few comments on different forums that the latest build / update for Zone Alarm was problematic for some people. That's why I reverted back to the older one; and all is running fine...

I have repeatdly run some firewall tests; specifically the Shields Up one, and it shows my ports to be buttoned up pretty good and is stealthed too..  Best firewall though would be a hardware one; as opposed to a software one......

Zone Alarm now supposedly has corrected that build with a newer one you might consider trying. It works fine for me. Check their website.

Actually, the firewall is part of EZ Armor, a suite by CA, provided by TWC for their Roadrunner customers. I reinstalled so I will see if I get the errors again. I did notice it grabbed a few updates while installing. If it causes no other problems and continues to work, I might just stay out of the Events Log. Sometimes, its probably better not to know. But, I am a tweaker......:smileyhappy:..

Thanks for your input.
