Thanks all...I did check and saw it was enabled !! I must have looked too quickly at the BIOS screen and didnt realize that there was a menu behind the option.
I need a help. I do not have Hardware virtualization supported in my machine Dell vostro 1015. how can i go and install Solaris on my VMware. I m getting long mode not supported rebooting error

You can see visualization under "Advanced BIOS Features", and it is listed as enabled by default.

At least some E8400 CPUs ship without VT. You should run the Intel processor ID utility to verify that VT is supported on your specific chip:

Dell Desktops are Not VMWARE servers and VMWARE is not supported here.
