Hi,
It is the Kensington Value-Mouse.  I have had this mouse for at least two years, it is clean of lint and working with a mouse pad or no mouse pad doesn't seem to make a difference.  The mouse that came with our Dell died.
The problem has only occurred within the last week and half.

Can you tell us what mouse it is that you're using on the Dimension system.
