Error 0xC00CE508 Net Framework
Hi,
I have been getting this message for a few days now:
“Error parsing
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\config\machine.config
Parser returned error 0xC00CE508.”
This has been causing problems because I can’t install updates and I keep getting another message saying that I need to restart my computer to repair driver errors. However, when I do, it takes around 10 minutes for it to start and all I get are more messages saying updates couldn’t be installed and errors couldn’t be fixed. The update that I can´t install is called “Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB3206632).” I have tried to uninstall .NET Framework but, since I have Windows 10, all I can do is turn the features on and off, which hasn’t worked. When I open a program that I need for work, I get a message saying, “Service ‘Sdl.Desktop.Platform.Services.ILicensingService’ could not be started.” From what I’ve found on the Internet, this is also related to .Net Framework. I’ve downloaded a few repair tools but none has managed to solve the issue. I even attempted to restart my computer while keeping my files, but the operation failed and nothing was changed. What could I do to fix this?

Your .NET ( 4.X with in-place updates 4.5. 4.5.1, 4.5.2 and 4.6) is corrupt.
Time to erase hard drive and start over.
