when and where can you delete the file? if its in windows, try deleting it outside the operating system. try going to safemode (safe mode with command prompt) and deleting it there. upon getting in to safe mode, a command box would appear, all you have to do is make sure that you know the filename and its location. FYI this would be a DOS emulation, so some DOS based commands would work; such as deltree. go to the directory to where the file is located and then type "deltree filename.extention /y" and that would delete the file. deltree command would delete any file or directory for that matter even if there are attributes such as hidden or read-only. just make sure that the file you are deleting isnt a valuable part of windows registry. :)
