Error message when running recording software

I have a Dimension C521 and have installed Cool Edit Pro (multitrack recording studio software) and get the following 2 error messages when trying to run it. "This application has failed to start because WMVCore2.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." "Error 126 Loading FLT File wma2.flt" I have tried re-installing and get the same message. Any guesses? I'm not at all familiar with .DLL or .flt Thanks.
