ERROR PLEASE HELP!

Thank you for reading, earlier, about 3 days ago, I tryed to run a system restore on my computer, HOWEVER it didn't work and said to restart the computer and try again so I did. The next time I tryed to do a system restore my computer wouldn't load and gives a 'disk read' error please help and tell me how to fix it! Thank you,   Malvrak

Right click on 'my computer', click 'properties', 'system protection', and ensure that there's a check in your 'local Disk' box

no see when I try to start my computer it stops before it says windows xp and says press control alt delete to restart and everytime I try it says the same thing 'disk read error' :(

what do you mean? I guesse, windows xp, RAM like 512 I think, XPS, sorry thats all I know im not very good at computers I hope that helps :(

Doesn't help at all. Model of computer, raid no raid, ect. Sounds like you've lost a drive, but wouldn't venture to say without more info, sorry

thats ok, however it I did lose a drive somehow how do I get a new one through DELL I presume? :( or mabey a whole new computer :(

call the Dell support line, they will have you do some tests, and then they will get you a new drive.
