errors
My computer is so messed up I could scream. I am a novice with computers but here goes, I cannot open anything without getting some sort of error message, like when I open explorer, I get a "cannot find Bridge dll' message, I cannot open my Microsoft Money, because of an error. It tells me to find files and put them in the "run" box on my start up menu and when I do, it tells me it cannot find what I am typing in. I am getting script errors and all types of "run dll." errors. WHAT IS HAPPENING?? I can't keep up with the errors anymore. What do I do?

Alls i can say is that you should really check for viruses if you havent already.
or....
"upgrade windows" when you insert your dell windows xp c.d and choose to reinstall windows, it gives you the option to "upgrade" it wont actually upgrade your computer though. It just replaces all of the windows files and lets you keep you documents, most programs, music etc, this really helps if you have no viruses. If you have viruses they would have alrady probaly infected your files and programs. Repair as many files as you can and save them to a c.d witout viruses and then just do a FULL reinstall of your operating system then put all of your files and music or whatever on you computer.. Make sure you have your drivers and so on when upgrading or installing windwos. They usually come with your computer and you just insert each c.d throughout the setup.
to summarize, check for viruse, do a reienstall/upgrade.

Its possible you have a real spyware problem (and/or viruses). Along with a full system scan for viruses, go to http://security.kolla.de and download Spybot Search & Destroy. Use its online update & then do a scan for problems with that & have it fix all problems. I've seen a lot of computers with errors you are describing get fixed by doing this.
