Many Dell items are custom manufactured for them.  That means whatever company that made it, if they even have drivers, may not work since it's a custom OEM version.  It could even have been sub contracted to a company that doesn't even market USB memory keys, just custom builds them for whoever contracts with them.

e.g. The Dell branded ink-jet printers (and All in ones) are made for them by Lexmark.  But, the Lexmark drivers will not work and same with the ink cartridges - that are identical in appearance but have a different "smart" chip inside to identify them.

That doesn't answer my question.

toddpipkin,

* Try these. I cannot ascertain who actually manufactured the keys. Go here:
http://www.memorykeytools.com/
* Under Windows 98 Driver, click "Here"
* Under Instructions, click "here"
* Click Save
* Click Desktop
* Click Save
* Right click the file that is now on your desktop
* Click Extract All
* Click Next
* Erase what is there and type c:\usbkey
* Click Next
* Click Finish
* Close any boxes that open
* Insert the USB key into a USB port
* When the wizard appears and asks for a driver, use the browse button and find the LexarUSB.inf in the c:\usbkey
