Does the issue happen when viewing videos on youtube or any other website? If not, then the issue is with Hulu and not the computer hardware. Read this and this.
It also happens on Netflix too. Just not as often as Hulu. However, I'm starting to notice that it is happening more with a desktop sign on the lower right corner that says hdmi. My home screen is flickering too. Why is this happening?
You should enter the service tag here, choose the operating system, then reinstall all of the chipset drivers one at a time, rebooting after each one. Then reinstall video card driver. Then retest.
