how do i open floppy disk drive  no button to push

Is there a disk in the drive? If there is, unless the button is broke, the button will extend out so you can push the button to eject the floppy disk. Message Edited by fudgieguys on 08-10-200603:15 PM

The black cover is likely  covering an empty bay on the computer. You edited your message about the model of your computer. I believe it is an Dimension 9150. Is that correct?

Without opening up the computer and physically checking, I would not try to guess what you have discribed.

This is the service manual for a Dimension 9150. Click on "Removing and Installing parts" and then click on "Media Card Reader". Is this what you are refering to?
