Floppy disk not working ---- Help!!!

I am having a problem with my floppy disk, it is not working. Dimension L series, using Windows 98, and I was upgrading my Chipset when 2 days later I found out this had happen. Please somebody help me.

You did'nt describe the problem. Does it light up when you boot? Can you read but not write disks? Is it enabled in the bios? Have you checked the cable connect and power connect? If it is truly gone, never fear...a new floppy drive is about 9.oo us. www.newegg.com
