Floppy drive missing after bios upgrade
Hi,
I've just upgraded a Precision 350 with latest bios A02. After the upgrade, floppy drive is missing in explorer in Windows XP. I've checked the device manager and the floppy drive is present and working properly. I've tried accessing the floppy drive in DOS and it's working. I've also tried to uninstall floppy from device manager and then scan for hardware changes. Floppy drive is then installed but it's not visible in explorer.
Anyone who have a idea of how to solve this.
Thanks
Regards
Paal

I reinstalled Windows XP just to try last think I could think of and it work. Floppy drive is now available again. I don't know what the bios upgrade caused windows XP to do.
