Floppy Drive not working..

I bought and installed a Dynex floppy drive in my Dimention 4600 and it is not working. I went through the hardware wizard and it didn't help, also looked in the bios to see if it was there and it's not.
 
Any suggestions? :smileyindifferent:

Open the case and make sure that both the data cable from the motherboard and the power cable from the power supply are securely connected to the floppy drive.

Hi Steve.

That was the first thing I did after I started my system up and it didn't detect the hardware. Everything is secure.

Try clearing NVRAM - Boot to system setup by pressing F2 immediately after starting the computer. Turn on Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, Num Lock, then press Press ALT+E then ALT+F then ALT+B.
