freezing

Question

I just want to know what this may be ,in some games the comp may freez for 3 to 7 sec and be fine , it well do it at random times, xps 400 4 gigs 8800gtoc x-fi sound w/xp  i know this is not the game page but work has games blocked

OCIR, I would start by searching for and loading all of the game patches. Then, if still no go, reinstall the latest video card driver, restart the PC and test the games.
