Gen 2 Not Supporting RAID?

Hi,

Ive been searching through the site seeing if my motherboard supports RAID 0 (and 1...) and seemingly all Gen 2's do (if im not correct, then this will solve everything.........) anyways, supposedly if it isnt installed on your motherboard already, it wont show up in your device manager, only the SCSI controllers will show up, and you can install the RAID controllers from your resource CD? But there isnt anything concerning RAID to install on mine... anyways, clearly I dont know what Im talking about, so any help would be very much appreciated!!
